About this Course

Scratch is an introductory coding language where coders can create animations, games, and stories that can be shared with others. This class will introduce students to fundamental coding concepts that form the basis of programming, an important skill in today’s world. The class will consist of lesson time followed by projects, where students will learn problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills that will help them down the road. The goal is to introduce students to the wonderful world of programming and guide them in their pursuit of coding in their academic and future careers. Co-ed; ages 10-14. Max (10) participants per course. [Start/End Dates: 4/05 - 5/31/2023 (8 weeks total). NO class during the April school vacation week, 4/17 - 4/21/23.]
